I spent an hour or so with Beau & Caroline this evening, chatting and taking photos. They are getting married in 8 weeks, so this was a great opportunity to get to know each other a bit better and to get them more used to me and my camera.

Abseiling in London
I was meant to be at Guys Hospital in London for three days, but Saturdays event was cancelled, so just Sunday and Monday it was. This is a great venue for an abseil, the views from the top are awesome, it's easy to get to and, at 450 feet, it's the highest civilian abseil you can do in the UK. If you are going to do a charity abseil, this is the one to go for.

Dog Walking
I was meant to be covering an abseil in London today but, unfortunately, it was cancelled. Bad news for me, but good news for Sheri who got to go on an extra long walk.

Town & Gown Fun Run in Oxford
I got very wet today. I was shooting the annual Town & Gown running race in Oxford and the heavens opened. After getting pictures at the start I went to a park area that they would be running through. I was hoping to get some shelter from the rain but then I had the predicament of it being to dark under the trees and too wet in the open. Using flash wasn't an option as I had so many pictures to take in such a short space of time, the flash just wouldn't be able to recharge quickly enough. In the end I just found a spot to shoot them before they came under the trees, it wasn't ideal, but could have been a lot worse.
We also had an abseil in Oxford that day which Ila was covering so she got very wet as well. All in all, there was a lot of soggy people today. Isn't the British weather just brilliant!

Ghostie Stunts
This is the sort of assignment that I relish. I met Eddie and Laura at Wembley Stadium. I wanted to get some portrait shots of them as well as shots of them stunting. They really are great to work with as they're up for anything and also good fun.

Abseiling at Symonds Yat
Yesterday was a great day. I was covering an abseil at Symonds Yat near the South Wales/England border. I went on my motorbike and had a great ride there on some fantastic roads. Symonds Yat is a great venue for an event like this, there are stunning views and it really is a beautiful part of the country. I then visited my brother who lives nearby and then had another great ride home.
Today, though, isn't so great as I have thousands of photos from karting in Whilton Mill, mine from Saturday and Ila's from Sunday, to sort out and get on to my website.

Family Portraits
I met the Flickers today. They're a lovely family from Devon. It was Carens's birthday and they were celebrating by renting a cottage in a little village near Banbury. Fiona, Carens daughter, booked me to come and take some family portraits for a birthday present for her Mum.
It was lovely, sunny and warm when I was photographing a karting meeting earlier during the day, unfortunately the sun went in and it had got quite cold when we were taking the pictures in the evening. But no one minded that and we got some great shots.

Thornborough 10k & Fun Run
It's that time of year again. The Thornborough 10k & Fun Run is held every May bank holiday Monday around the little village of Thornborough, which is between Milton Keynes and Buckingham. There's always a great community spirit and holiday atmosphere about this event. Although I never make a lot of money from it, I still always enjoy going to this event.

Bluebells in Whichford Woods
This is going to sound really soppy, but we sometimes really do take the beauty of nature for granted. We really have got some awesome scenery and landscapes, maybe we should all try and appreciate it a bit more and try and preserve what we have.
These pictures were taken in Whichford Woods near Hook Norton in North Oxfordshire.
