A Busy Weekend

Updating my blog is the last thing I'm going to do today before settling down on the sofa to watch yesterdays Grand Prix.
Our weekend started on Friday evening with a Black Tie Ball in Central London. I'd a great evening, meeting some lovely people and listening to a great live band. By the time we got home and got to bed it was 4am, then up again at 7am to go to Tanks A Lot in Northamptonshire. What a contrast to the posh do the night before, trudging around in a field of knee high deep mud all day....love it.
It was another early start for me yesterday, I left the house soon after 6am, to cover round 1 of the Easykart championship in Ellough Park in Suffolk, eventually getting home again at 10pm. Meanwhile Mandie & Andy went to the JR hospital in Oxford to cover an abseil there.

Club 100 karting at Rye House

I've spent the weekend at Rye House in Hertfordshire photographing sprint and endurance races in the Club 100 championships. Saturday was quite challenging as it was so wet and windy, and getting quite dark at times. All in all it was a great couple of days.

Photo session at Broughton Castle

We had a very cold photo session at Broughton Castle on Saturday. Michelle and Simon are getting married in Banbury in June and having a reception in South Newington afterwards. Broughton Castle is on the way, so on the way to the reception we're going to stop off here for a few quick shots. Hopefully it will be a lot warmer then (it was freeeezing when we were there).

Pre Wedding Photos at Wroxton House

I met up with Debbie & Marc on Saturday for a pre wedding photo shoot. I'm photographing Debbie and Marc's wedding at the Wroxton House Hotel in May, so this was a good way of checking out the venue, and going over final photography plans for the big day.
