- Hello one and all. I've been taken photographs all my life, well since I was about ten. I started taking pictures on a 126 format camera and got my first SLR (a Zenith that was like a big heavy brick) when I was about 15. I started Purepix Photography in 2003. For the first few years I ran the business in my spare time whilst also having a full time job. I now devote all my time to this and love doing it. I get to meet some great people, go to great places and have some great fun when I'm working. I cover all types of photography, but mostly events, weddings and portraits.
